Availability of information

As part of our refreshed approach to annual monitoring, we intend to publish some of the key performance measure data and property data you provide in your annual monitoring. Publishing this standardised data also helps inform decision‑making across government and the sector, while ensuring information is accurate, appropriately curated, and does not compromise regulatory independence or fairness.

There may be times when we need to release some information about your reporting through a request for official information through the Official Information Act 1982 and other legal obligations.

Guidance Note Official Information Act

If we receive a request for any personal or official information we hold, we’ll consult with any affected parties as appropriate. We’ll then decide what information should be released and withheld in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and the Official Information Act 1982.

This legislation protects personal information and other information when it‘s consistent with the public interest, such as commercially sensitive information.
