Habitat Nelson is an Incorporated Society and a registered charity that operates in Te Tauihu (Nelson/Tasman and top of the South Island). With the help of many volunteers each year, we deliver a wide range of housing services and programmes for whānau disadvantaged through inadequate housing, aimed at building strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter.
We deliver new housing supply through our Rent to Own Progressive Home Ownership (PHO) programme, as well as providing long-term affordable rental housing for low to median income whānau, and social housing for people on the public housing register.
